- Emotional support for all of our children is the most important. A quick phone call, visit or check in especially the week Julia has a doctor appointment or MRI is the most valuable thing for our family.
- Come to one of our events! A.J. and Julia are old enough to realize what's going on and why we're raising money. They understand it is to help doctors to help children with "polka dots" like her.
- Believe YOU CAN make a difference. Before there was a cure or vaccination for Polio it seemed like the disease would NEVER be cured. In 1955, the campaign to end Polio gained notoriety when a radio DJ urged his 2 million listeners to send dimes to the White House. The value of a dime in 1955 would be the equivalent to $1.80 today. This was the beginning of the March of Dimes- we all know the end to that story!
- Hold your own fundraising event! These events take many forms such as Auctions, Concerts, Golf Outings, Walks, Runs, Theatre Nights, Dance offs and even a Kick-A-Thon at a local Karate Academy…we will be happy to help your efforts in everyway we can so let’s team up!
